Power Slot Power Alloy enhanced brake rotors utilize a special formula of higher-tensile-strength iron with increased molybdenum content. This delivers improved stopping power and offers superior resistance to cracking due to thermal stress in performance driving situations like the grueling 200 mile race won by Compass360 Racing in Daytona. Power Slot’s exclusive directional cooling vanes in selected applications such as the rotors for Honda Accords or Acura TSXs used on the Compass360 Civics, additionally enhance brake performance by reducing operating temperatures under severe use. Double-disc ground friction surfaces minimize additional attention needed for pad bedding. An anti-corrosion e-coating over all unswept surfaces provides lasting, attractive appearance.
"Power Slot's Power Alloy enhanced brake rotors represent a full step forward," noted Dan Lelchuk, President of Centric Parts, which includes Power Slot and StopTech. "Power Alloy is a reliable one piece performance rotor solution with directional vanes that make a difference on the track or in any performance driving situation."
Power Alloy was named “Best New Performance Product or Accessory” at the 2008 SEMA and AAPEX trade shows by the Auto International Association (AIA), which recognizes parts manufacturers for excellence in products.
