The new StopTech Big Brake Kit for the Porsche Cayman S provides the same track-worthy stopping power found in the Porsche Cayman Interseries race series where they were perfected.
StopTech, the ultra-performance division of Centric Parts, is offering three different lines of front and back Big Brake Kits for the 2008-2010 Porsche Cayman S, ensuring that every level of Cayman driving enthusiast has access to StopTech's patented braking innovations. The StopTech Big Brake Kit offers premium braking power for those who mostly or only drive their Porsche Cayman S on the street. The StopTech Trophy Sport Big Brake Kit meet the needs of Porsche Cayman S owners who primarily drive on the track but occasionally hit the streets, while the StopTech Trophy Big Brake kit delivers performance for track-only vehicles and have made their way to many race podiums since being introduced.

All StopTech Big Brake Kits for the Porsche Cayman S come with a pair of slotted or drilled floating directional AeroRotors (355x32 for front kits and 332x32 for rear kits) paired with AeroHats featuring billet aluminum mounting brackets with stainless steel hubs, using patented technology to boost essential, performance-boosting, cooling airflow to the brake surfaces.
Forged, high performance, patented, six-piston front or four-piston rear calipers round out the kits with DOT-compliant stainless steel braided Teflon brake lines and StopTech Street Performance Brake Pads.
StopTech Trophy and Trophy Sport Big Brake Kits include upgraded ultra-lightweight STR calipers engineered to provide a generous reduction in weight over standard StopTech ST calipers without sacrificing stiffness or performance. The AeroRotors in these upgraded big brake kits also include additional degrees of radial and axial float to accommodate the unique combination of hard braking and cornering found in racing situations.
All three series of Big Brake Kits from StopTech provide shorter stopping distances, better brake modulation, firmer pedal feel and less brake fade resulting in stronger, more reliable performance on and off the track.
These brake kits for the Porsche Cayman S were initially developed for the 2010 Cayman Interseries where they adorn every car in the race series. Cayman Interseries' Director of Competition, Jack Baldwin stated that since switching to StopTech brakes, the drivers have been "treated to the thrill of superior braking from which they had never experienced before."
