STOPTECH INTRODUCES STAINLESS STEEL PERFORMANCE BRAKE LINES FOR 1994-2001 MAZDA MIATA MX-5
LOS ANGELES (JULY 2010) - StopTech, a leading manufacturer, supplier and innovator of world class brake components and brake systems for production-based race cars and high performance vehicles on the street and track, has released new stainless steel brake lines for the 1994-2005 Mazda Miata MX-5. StopTech is the ultra performance division of Centric Parts.
All StopTech stainless steel lines are DOT-compliant and feature a Teflon inner hose supported by a layer of woven stainless steel braid that is wrapped in a clear PVC plastic cover, providing added protection from debris and abrasion. StopTech’s stainless steel lines are pressure tested to 4500psi and offer more precise brake modulation and firmer pedal feel.
The selection of vehicles covered include the 1994-2000 Miata plus the 2001-2005 models with normal suspension. StopTech parts are sold to the public through performance automotive parts retailers. The part numbers 950.45505 for the back brakes.
The Mazda Miata MX-5 is the legendary Japanese take on small British roadsters. Introduced in 1989, the Miata is now in its third generation, which has dropped the Miata moniker altogether to only retain the MX-5 designation from Mazda.
